Last week, it was revealed that Xiaomi was set to launch a 27-inch 165 Hz gaming monitoralongside a 30,000 mAh power bank, following the release of the Mi Band 4. The Chinese company has now released the latter of the two, and as is typical with Xiaomi products, it seems to offer excellent value for money.
Xiaomi has now launched the Mi Power Bank 3, a direct successor to the Mi Power Bank 2i. The Mi Power Bank 3, as expected, offers a 30,000 mAh capacity. That's massive! For some perspective, the Mi Power Bank 3 should be enough to charge up a Microsoft Surface Gowith its 26.12 Wh battery—or a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with a 5000 mAh battery—a handful of times.

The Mi Power Bank 3 features three output ports: two Type-A ports and one Type-C. All three ports support 18 W fast-charging. There are two input ports: a Type-C and Micro USB port. The Type-C input port supports 24 W fast-charging which will see the Mi Power Bank 3 charged fully in 7.5 hours. An 18 W charger will charge it fully in 10 hours.
In addition, the Mi Power Bank 3 offers a low-current charging mode for charging smaller devices like controllers, smart bands, and BT earbuds. It carries an MSRP of CNY 169, or about US$24. Sadly, though, the Mi Power Bank 3 offers specifications outside allowed flight standards, and so will not be allowed on a flight.
