Diwali Celebrated With Religious Fever In Kashmir's Summer Capital Srinagar

Diwali, or Dipawali, is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps(deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. This festival is as important to Hindus as the Christmas holiday is to Christians.

Diwali Celebrated With Religious fervour in Kashmir. Different communities take part in diwali and showed the Real Fraternity. Every where in kashmir we could hear the loud sound of crackers, and with different types of fire crackers not only kids but also the elders enjoyed to watch the crackers as they taking the shape of flowers in the air. No where can find this kind of Fraternity where different festivals are celebrated with fervour. I think the most safest place on Earth for every religion is kashmir where Kashmiris are not only famous for their humanity but also for Hospitality and much more.
